We're #1!

Our Quick Recall team went totally undefeated throughout the whole day today. We took 1st of course and I took the Social Studies test and might not place, but oh well. I'll go to Engineering Day if I don't.
WOOT! We played Model and beat them, then Central and beat them by 15, then Southern and beat them, and then Model again and of course beat them. YAY!
It was fun!

Guess what?

I'm leaving this Friday! Not forever though. Just for the weekend. *whew*

I'm going out to Virginia for my Grandma's birthday. Maybe I'll write her a story or something on the way up... That'd be a nice present. She loves the stuff I make her... Or maybe a song or something... But whatever. I'll figure it out...

But yeah. I'm leaving right after school, so I won't be here for the Academic Team competition... Sorry guys... But I'm not gonna be doing much anyway, seeing as I've already finished the FPS part of the competition.

Hey, maybe I'll find that book that I lost last time I was there! And Taylor can finally read it! That'd be nice... I bet that I have a lot of stuff out there that I've left over the years... Might be worth looking into...

So yeah. I'm kind of posting late tonight, so I'll have probably told you where I'm going by the time you read this, but anyway, here's my goodbye!

Love you guys, and see you soon!

Snow!

You gotta love snow days... Though I'd prefer if they were a bit farther apart...

So anyways, I've had a pretty boring day. My mom didn't want to drive anywhere, so I was stuck at home. I pretty much just hung out around the house doing nothing. Nice and relaxing, I must say.

So yeah... Sounds like you had fun, Braden. Though the sled thing sounded painful... And, to your previous post, I still agree with the church thing... Of course.

I'm glad you liked my lyrics Tay. I was worried that I'd brought up a rough topic at first and had upset you... It's nice to know that they might have helped in some way, shape or form...

So anyway, I really don't have much else to talk about. Not much has happened, since we've been at home so much... But whatever.

Talk to you guys later!

Snow day!

This morning, I actually woke up at 5:58 AM (after staying up until 11:31 the night before) and I heard the phone ring and since it was all so familiar of last week's storm, I instantly knew that there was no school. I just went along with it. We're already going into June by the end of the year, so I didn't really mind and went back to bed.
Then I got up around 10:15 and did my usual morning routine (get up, brush teeth, and shower) and I made myself a turkey/cheese omlette and two pieces of toast and I had a glass of Apple Juice punch and pomegranite Yoplait yogurt for breakfast.
I was on Facebook and talked to Charu about sledding on Peachbloom Hill around 12:30 and we did that before I ate lunch since I wanted to sled up (oxymoron!) an appetite. So I did that with Tim, Chrissy, Autumn, Charlsa, Aaron Hill, Camilla, and Shiloh (Camilla's beagle ironically).
We were preparing to do a train with Tim and I in my sled up front and the others behind us. I was sitting behind Tim with the rope of the sled behind me around my neck/shoulder area. We went down the hill and partially the way down the front two sleds started to separate and they did, and I fell out of my sled and was dragged down the hill with the rope around my neck. LOL!
It didn't hurt me. I had my Band hoodie hood on with my awesome peacoat over it. Woot! I was warm and it was cold, but really fun!
Tell me about your days fellow Phunk siblings!

More of my life...

Today with the earthquake drill, it was weird. My knees hurt the last half of it and they ached for a few seconds when we got up. *sigh* I read the story until we were at Wal-Mart. LOL! Kudos to Laura on that.

We watched Phantom in Band, but I wanted to finish Mulan. Oh well.....but I have seen the beginning of POTO a million times. *sigh*

When we were waiting for Rane's mom to come pick me, Rane, Abby, Elizabeth, and Charlsa up, Charlsa and I went outside and ran in the snow. HEHE! I talked to Lekey a bit and Taylor came and then Lekey left and then I left. Yeah.

I somewhat watched Dungeons and Dragons and I got a question right during the QR practice thing. My phone got all possessed again and turned off when I was waiting for Mommy to come pick me up and go to supper at Papaleno's and she sent me 5 texts and was waiting for me out in her car for almost 10 minutes. Stupid phone!

Papaleno's was awesome as always. I was starving. I got baked spaghetti with meatyballs and I had the best breadstick EVER! It was soft, but not doughy soft and it was scrumptious. *licks lips* Yummy!

Now I'm home waiting for A Double Shot at Love to come on.

Yeah. That's what I did today after school.

As for emotional status (I guess you could call it), I'm on the verge of maybe possibly liking somebody, but I just don't know yet. Too vague and plus I'm confused at this time in my life as to who I like. UGH! It's confusing and I don't like it. *double ugh* I don't know what to do.

As for religious status, I NEED QUAKERISM!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm desparate! My mom's not willing to help at all. She thinks that sitting in an uncomfortable pew completely aggitated with the improper grammar usage, the music, and the whole one- view-on-life thing. UGH! I also have a I-don't-want-to-be-here-anymore feeling in my heart/chest that occurs when I go there (ALWAYS!) and she thinks that that is what's best for me. GRR!

Oh, maybe a post.

Well, nobody's posted for a while, so I thought I would!
So, me and Laura and Lekey had a sleepover and it was fun. We made WEIRD cookies with WEIRD brown sugar and WEIRD butter. But they were good :D Then we watched SNL with Jason Mraz on it. Yay!
So, I think yesterday and today were good. Long academic team practice with pizza...
But I don't know. I think I'm bipolar. :(
But I have a hope stone. It helps. That's what I need right now, hope.
Laura, I liked your lyrics. I don't know if you could tell but... they made me cry.

Whatever.

Here is that Photoshop tutorial I promised you, Laura.

Bye.

PS First post of February!

Life...

*sighs* Life is weird. Everything tends to happen at once... Why is that?

Today was fun. I hung out with Braden and Lekey and we played guitar hero... And when they left, I actually completed a song on expert! It was "What I've Done" but still... It's an accomplishment...

But now life comes falling back down... Tomorrow is not going to be fun. At all. My mom's probably gonna cry, and I'm really glad that my grandma decided that it was better if she didn't come. She's a strong person and I really don't want to see her cry... Which she would have were she here...

It's gonna be a really long day tomorrow. If you don't know what I'm talking about, ask me about it later. I can't talk about it on the blog... Hopefully, it won't last long though.

I'll tell you one thing though. I don't intend to take it laying down. Something has to be done.

I really hope that you all knew what you were doing when you supported Obama. He won't live up to expectations. He can't. Not with everything that's been put on his shoulders. But I honestly hope that he's one of our country's best presidents. God knows we need that right now. Desperatly.

*Sighs* Life really just gets ya sometimes, you know?

See you all later...

WOOT!

I spent the night Laura's as you may know because of boredom and my house had no power, but I just texted my mom a little while ago and WE HAVE POWER AGAIN!!!!
I really want to go sledding. LOL! I know random right? Laura is still sleeping perpetually late of course. I want to go wake her up!
We totally need to all hang out today before school tomorrow. The school has power and we might have school and a one-day school week.
Hmmmm.
I'm still at Laura's for the time being.
Chrissy had a generator hooked up, that cheater. :p Hehe.
Hope to see you all today and soon!
Peace fellow hippies!

WooHoo!

As surprising as it may seem, I actually DID have power this entire time! I think we lost it for all of a few seconds on Tuesday though...

If you don't believe me, check your Facebooks. I made myself one and sent you friend requests while everyone else was stuck without power...

I was gonna post, but there wasn't much point... I mean, no one could read it until the power outage was over anyways...

And we still have no school tomorrow! Which means that we need to hang out! Before our 1 day school week! Our teachers won't be able to do much, will they? I hope so at least... School days where you do nothing are more fun than break days. That's cause you're still able to hang out with everybody...

So anyways, we have two college students staying in our basement. This is because they shut down the college dorms in Berea. All the other students are bedding down in Shannon Johnson...

And Braden's here! Here being at my house! And he's spending the night here 'cause (1) He felt like it, and (2) His house still has no power...

So yeah... Lekey's still in Somerset, I think. With her family's friends... So at least she's warm. Hannah's probably at her Grandma's house... I haven't heard about Kaylyn, so I'll have to call her later...

So yeah. Glad you had a little fun with the outage Tay. I was bored to tears 'cause I was afraid to read my books while the power was on because if it went out, I'd then have nothing to do. So I surfed the web and sat around for most of this week... I'm kinda even looking forward to school now...

So we need to hang out tomorrow. But if we can't, I guess I'll just see you at school Friday...

Anyways, See ya later!

Power Outage is OVER!

Soooo... Who else had NO ELECTRICITY between noon yesterday and JUST NOW?
I sure did. I know you didn't, Laura.
So, we were at the dentist (I know, on a snow day, gah) and all the ladies were like, "Oh yeah, there's no power at my house!" So then we called home and mom said we were out.
So we were like, ok it will come back soon. But it didn't. So we cooked canned soup on our woodstove and used dad's kerosene lanterns and candles to see by. It was cozy, except no electricty!
So we went to bed and I woke up, saw my blank clock and was like, *sigh* no power. So that's how it's been all day. Hannah of the Seventh Grade came over, and so did Terra, and we did random stuff such as make Sata Andagi. T'was fun.
So I was reading by the light of 4 candles and the lights came on! Yay!
So thus this post. AND they already cancelled school tomorrow! Ha!

I'm really lonely, though. I hope I can see some of y'all tomorrow!
